Custom furniture investments demand a collaboration of ideas, designs and a full understanding of what the end result will bring to those who enjoy and use it on a daily basis. We are a specialty builder of fine furniture. The process starts with empathy and understanding of goals and expectations.
Many crave a piece that brings emotion and purpose. Thus, a one size fits all approach is not our way of doing things. It’s our job to bring out those purposes and emotions to create a lasting piece that will stand proud.
Authenticity combined with details and craftsmanship equals amazing results. Here is our process and fee structure:
Design:
Listening and understanding how you live, as well as understanding your definitions of luxury, function and form is where we begin. Every detail doesn’t have to come out right away. The beauty of this stage is that it is only the beginning of our effort. What makes us stand out is our ability to take ideas and turn them into meaningful results. We check in with you and once approved, we are eager to deliver.
Our custom design fees start at $1200.00. This includes 3D drawings, site visit, up to 3 video design reviews and design revisions. Once we receive agreement / payment, it is time to start collecting ideas and components for your vision to become reality.
Scheduling
Once the design is finalized a 50% deposit of the agreed upon price is required to secure a spot in the workshop schedule. Depending on the length of the project an intermediate draw of 25% of the remainder may be required.
Build:
This is where materials become something real and establish a quiet confidence. What sets us apart is our commitment to showing you progress and checking in with you regarding preferences and build outcomes.
Our communication is second to none. Why do we matter? Specialty shops that connect with you on this level are rare. Communication issues are the downfall of many a well intended project. We focus intently on consistent and appropriate and meaningful communication.
Delivery & Installation:
Payment in full is a requirement for delivery or to begin installation
Projects requiring installation will be charged at a flat hourly fee, plus materials as needed. A non-binding time estimate will be offered during the design phase.
